Hi, my name is Bob Stickles. Welcome to I Healed My Crohn’s Colitis. I have been symptom free from Crohn’s Colitis for over twenty years. I don’t take medicine or follow a special diet. I want to share with you the information that has helped me heal and most of all remind you that you are not alone! When I was beginning my path to heal I did not have anyone to talk to who had healed. I started this website, and my blog by the same name, so that when times get tough you can find support or someone to talk to here.
Here are some of the things that worked for me as I moved my body toward health: First I removed stress from my life where possible. Then I sought out tools to better handle the day-to-day stress that we all have. One such tool was meditation. I learned to watch the streams of thoughts that are constantly moving through my mind. Each thought has the potential to create either sickness or health. I learned to create healing thoughts and change my thoughts of sickness to thoughts of health. This created a better life for me and the people around me. Finally, I believe the mind runs the body, so to heal I started using my mind to visualize healthy intestines. The rest is history.
I wrote a book called I Healed My Crohn’s Colitis which will be available soon to order online or at your local bookstore. My book is a quick read, packed with information. It follows my path to health and to a full and happy life through the practice of meditation.
